Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy outlines how Almanachappystck Mobility GmbH (Torstraße 142, 10119 Berlin, Germany; Contact: [email protected]) collects, manages, uses, and safeguards personal and telemetry data across our European slow travel documentation interface. We are dedicated to the highest standards of digital privacy in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR).

1. Data We Collect and Process

We restrict data gathering strictly to necessary logistical, communicative, and telemetry metrics. The categories of information processed include:

  • Directly Provided Identity Data: Names, electronic mail addresses, and itinerary submissions entered via the Field Desk contact form.
  • Logistical Preferences: Chosen travel speeds, regional transit selections, duration variables submitted to our Immersion Calculator, and GPX download queries.
  • Technical & Telemetry Data: Anonymized Internet Protocol (IP) hashes, browser classification, timestamped request headers, and localized session flags stored locally on client hardware.

2. Legal Basis for Processing Under GDPR

We process personal data solely under the following recognized legal foundations pursuant to Article 6 of the GDPR:

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): Explicit authorization provided by users when submitting field contact inquiries or selecting non-essential cookie permissions.
  • Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): Maintaining server resilience, preventing cross-site scripting vulnerabilities, and diagnosing network strain across our European routing engine.
  • Contractual Performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): Providing requested itinerary guides, municipal residency logs, and direct corridor inquiries.

3. Data Retention and Destruction

Contact records and inquiry dispatches are retained for a maximum duration of 18 months from the date of final resolution, after which they are irreversibly expunged from primary storage vaults. Server logs generated during normal page browsing are rotated and overwritten on a rolling 30-day lifecycle.

4. Third-Party Service Processors

We do not vend, lease, or syndicate user records to commercial advertising networks. Data processing is supported solely by infrastructure partners adhering to strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) with European data residency guarantees:

  • EU Cloud Hosting & Server Infrastructure (Frankfurt & Stockholm data centers).
  • Transactional Email Delivery Services utilizing TLS 1.3 encryption protocols.
  • Zero third-party tracking pixels or behavioural remarketing tags are embedded on this platform.

5. Your Statutory Rights

Under European and international privacy frameworks, you retain comprehensive rights concerning your personal data, including: Right of Access (Art. 15), Right to Rectification (Art. 16), Right to Erasure / 'To Be Forgotten' (Art. 17), Right to Restriction of Processing (Art. 18), and Right to Data Portability (Art. 20). To exercise any of these rights, transmit a formal request to our Data Protection Officer at [email protected].
